PetroVietnam leader’s working visit to Gazprom-Neft in Russian Federation regarding transfer of shares and investment cooperation to upgrade Dung Quat Oil Refinery Project
From 24th to 28th February 2015, PetroVietnam working group led by Vice President Le Manh Hung came to visit and work with Gazprom-Neft (GPN) at its headquarters in Russian Federation on the issue that GPN buys shares and invests in Dung Quat oil refinery upgrading and expanding project. The working group was participated by Mr. Vu Ngoc Quyen - Deputy Director of the Department of Sector Economics under the Government Office and representatives of the Divisions of Petroleum Processing; Investment and Development; Finance, Accounting and Audit; BSR leader.

Welcoming and negotiating with PetroVietnam working group on behalf of GPN were Mr. Barishnikov and Mr. Chener - Deputy CEOs of GPN, head of divisions under GPN and representative from the Ministry of Energy - Russian Federation.
At the meeting, GPN and PetroVietnam expressed the desire to become strategic partner to each other and have long-term cooperation, especially the content that GPN buy shares and invest in Dung Quat oil refinery upgrading and expanding project; PetroVietnam notified GPN of the implementation of Dung Quat oil refinery upgrading and expanding project, the two parties also reviewed the contents which had been agreed, negotiated the pending issues of both sides during the past time and gave solutions, plans for further implementation.
Representative of Russia’s Ministry of Energy and GPN leaders also proposed and invited the delegation of Vietnam’s Government Office, Ministry of Industry and Trade, PetroVietnam to Russia to negotiate for early conclusion of documents between the two governments concerning the Project.
At the end of the meeting, in open atmosphere, GPN leaders sincerely thanked PetroVietnamleader and the working group for coming and working with GPN on the first days of new year of Vietnam, as well as for actively negotiating during the past time and showing the goodwill to continue cooperation and negotiation in order to end soon the pending issues. PetroVietnamand GPN signed the Minutes of Working on 27th February 2015 for further implementation. /.
